Meetings with
our Masters: Yiddish Puppet Theater/PM1 Beyle

This class for intermediate/advanced Yiddish speakers will stage texts with accompanying
songs in a literally hands-on look at the puppet and marionette tradition in the
Yiddish theater. Those who speak Yiddish on an intermediate/advanced level but
cannot read as fluently are still encouraged to participate.
Youth
Theater Workshop/PM1 AND PM2 Jenny
Romaine (class meets both afternoon periods)
Students will again create an original work of contemporary Yiddish theater under
the tutelage of Jenny Romaine. The Youth Theatre Workshop performance is a highlight
of the last night of KlezKamp. KlezKampers ages 12-17 are invited to a week of
challenge, controversy, heightened consciousness and great fun. This class meets
for 2 periods each afternoon.
